Countries are encouraged to endorse the Declaration and take practical steps to promote the safety of all humanitarian personnel.
Humanitarian organisations and regional groups can be associated with the Declaration. We encourage humanitarian organisations and regional groups to associate with the Declaration and encourage countries to join.

How to join
To endorse the Declaration, countries should send a Third Person Note (TPN) / Note Verbale to the Permanent Mission of Australia to the United Nations in Geneva at [email protected]
Signing on does not impose legal or financial obligations. It demonstrates strong political commitment to better protecting humanitarian personnel and enables participation in the Group of Friends.
